Real Western Life LLC (“Real Western Life,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit or interact with RealWesternLife.com, shop.RealWesternLife.com, our custom-order pages and forms, and other websites, services, communications, or online features operated by Real Western Life that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not control.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with Real Western Life, we may collect the following categories of information.

Contact and identification information may include your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and similar information.

Order and transaction information may include products purchased, order history, customization selections, shipping information, transaction details, returns or customer-service information, and other information associated with a purchase.

Payment information is generally processed by Shopify and the payment providers available through our checkout. Real Western Life does not normally receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Account information may include your account profile, contact information, preferences, order history, and other information associated with a customer account. Passwords and certain authentication information may be processed by Shopify or other service providers rather than being directly accessible to Real Western Life.

Communications may include information you provide through email, contact forms, custom-order forms, customer-service communications, social media, or other communications with us.

Marketing information may include your email address, marketing preferences, subscription status, interactions with marketing emails, and similar information when you choose to receive communications from us.

Device and internet information may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, interactions with our website, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers, and similar technical information.

Advertising and analytics information may include information concerning how you interact with our websites, advertisements, emails, and marketing campaigns.

2. Custom Orders, Photographs, Brands, Artwork, and Personalization

Customers requesting custom or personalized products may voluntarily provide additional information or materials, including:

• Names, dates, wording, and personalization details

• Ranch or livestock brands

• Ranch or family names

• Photographs

• Logos and artwork

• Memorial information

• Military or service-related information

• Faith-related information

• Information concerning children when supplied by an authorized adult

• Color and design preferences

• Other materials necessary to produce the requested product

We use these materials primarily to design, produce, fulfill, and support the requested order.

Submitting custom material to Real Western Life does not automatically give us permission to use that material for advertising or promotional purposes.

We will not intentionally use a customer's private photographs, family information, ranch brands, child-related information, memorial information, or other personalized materials in our advertising, website galleries, social media, marketing materials, or promotional content without separate permission from the customer.

If we would like to feature a completed custom product, we may separately request permission.

3. Sensitive Personal Information

Certain information voluntarily submitted as part of a custom product may be considered sensitive personal information under some privacy laws.

For example, particular personalization could reveal religious beliefs or other personal information.

Please do not provide sensitive information unless it is reasonably necessary for the product or service you have requested.

When sensitive information is voluntarily provided for customization, we use it only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, fulfill the order, maintain necessary records, or comply with applicable law.

We do not use customer-submitted sensitive personalization information for targeted advertising.

4. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Because we sell children's quilts and personalized products, an adult may provide a child's name, photograph, birth information, or other information for purposes of creating a personalized product.

By providing information concerning a child, you represent that you are the child's parent, legal guardian, or another adult authorized to provide the information for the requested purpose.

If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

From service providers and business partners, including Shopify, advertising platforms, analytics providers, shipping companies, production partners, and other providers that support our business.

8. Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence

Our online store is hosted and supported by Shopify.

Shopify processes personal information when visitors interact with our Shopify store, create accounts, make purchases, use checkout, and otherwise use Shopify-supported portions of our Services.

We currently have Shopify Network Intelligence enabled.

When Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, information concerning interactions with our store may be processed by Shopify together with information concerning interactions with Shopify and other Shopify merchants in order to provide enhanced services.

These enhanced services may help Real Western Life and Shopify provide more personalized experiences, understand customer interactions, improve services, prevent fraud, measure advertising effectiveness, and provide more relevant advertising.

Information may be shared with Shopify and service providers located in the United States or other countries.

No other Shopify merchant receives direct access to Real Western Life's customer database through Shopify Network Intelligence.

Where required by applicable law, visitors can opt out of certain uses of their information for targeted advertising, sale, or sharing, and can manage applicable consent choices.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, software development tools, and similar technologies.

These providers may receive information such as device identifiers, cookie identifiers, IP addresses, browsing activity, purchase or conversion information, and interactions with advertisements.

Depending on the applicable privacy law, some of these activities may be considered targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, “sharing,” or a “sale” of personal information, even though Real Western Life does not sell customer information for cash.

Where applicable, you may opt out through our cookie controls, Data Sharing Opt-Out page, browser-based privacy signals where recognized, or other methods described in this policy.

11. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Real Western Life does not sell personal information to third parties in exchange for money.

However, certain information transmitted to advertising, analytics, Shopify, or technology partners may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under the broad definitions used by some U.S. state privacy laws.

Where applicable, consumers may opt out of these activities.

Our Shopify store provides or will provide a Data Sharing Opt-Out mechanism for applicable visitors.

We also use Shopify privacy tools that can recognize certain legally recognized browser-based signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), where applicable.

12. Email Marketing — Hostinger Reach

We currently use Hostinger Reach to manage email marketing.

You may receive newsletters or promotional email from Real Western Life when you have provided the appropriate consent or otherwise requested those communications.

Purchasing a product does not by itself mean that you have agreed to receive marketing emails, unless applicable law permits such communications and the necessary requirements have been satisfied.

Marketing information may include your email address, name, subscription status, engagement information, and information about interactions with messages.

Every promotional email will provide an available method to unsubscribe.

If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited information on a suppression list so that we can honor your request and avoid inadvertently resubscribing you.

13. SMS and Text Marketing

Real Western Life may offer SMS or text-message marketing in the future.

We will not enroll you in promotional text messages merely because you provide a telephone number for shipping, an order, customer service, or another transactional purpose.

If you separately choose to receive SMS marketing, we may collect your telephone number, consent information, subscription status, and messaging interaction information.

Consent to receive promotional text messages will not be a condition of purchasing a product where prohibited by law.

You may opt out of promotional text communications using the instructions provided with those messages.

SMS opt-in information and consent will not be sold or provided to unaffiliated third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. Information may be provided to telecommunications or messaging service providers as necessary to deliver requested communications.

14. Information We Share With Service Providers

We may share information with companies that help us operate our business, including:

Shopify and ecommerce providers for hosting, checkout, customer accounts, payments, security, analytics, and related ecommerce services.

Hostinger and Hostinger Reach for website-related services and email marketing.

Production and fulfillment partners, including Printify and other companies that may assist with printing, embroidery, quilting, sewing, digitizing, finishing, packaging, or fulfillment.

Shipping carriers to deliver orders.

Payment providers to process payments and prevent fraud.

Advertising and analytics providers, including Meta, Google, Pinterest, and TikTok.

Technology providers for hosting, cloud storage, email, communications, forms, data storage, cybersecurity, and business software.

Professional advisers, including accountants, attorneys, insurers, and tax professionals.

We seek to share only information reasonably necessary for a provider to perform the requested service.

Our service providers are not authorized by Real Western Life to use customer information for their own independent marketing except where disclosed, authorized, or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

15. Business Transfers and Legal Disclosures

We may disclose or transfer information if Real Western Life is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

Order and transaction records may be retained for up to seven years, or longer where required for legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or other legitimate purposes.

Customer account information may be retained while an account remains active and afterward as reasonably necessary for business or legal purposes.

Marketing information may be retained while you remain subscribed. Limited suppression information may remain after you unsubscribe so we can honor your request.

Custom design materials, including photographs, brands, artwork, and personalization information, may be retained when reasonably necessary to complete an order, resolve a problem, maintain appropriate business records, or facilitate a future reorder requested by the customer.

Advertising and analytics information may be retained according to the settings and retention periods of the applicable provider.

Information that is no longer reasonably necessary may be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of, subject to legitimate backup and recordkeeping requirements.

17. International Data Transfers

Real Western Life is based in the United States.

Our providers, including Shopify and other technology companies, may process information in the United States, Canada, or other countries.

As a result, personal information may be processed outside the country or region in which you live, and those countries may have different privacy laws.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we and our providers rely on legally recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards.

However, no website, electronic transmission, network, or data-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or interact with services operated by companies such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Google, YouTube, or others.

Those companies operate under their own privacy policies.

Real Western Life is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our business, websites, technology, advertising practices, service providers, laws, or regulatory requirements.
